Dwarris, (Sir) Fortunatus William Lilley, s. William, of Isle of Jamaica, West Indies, arm. University Coll., matric. 23 March. 1804, aged 17; B.A. 1808, bar.-at-law, of the Middle Temple 1811, a bencher 1850, recorder of Newcastle-under-Lyne, one of the municipal corporation commissioners, a master of the Court of Queen's Bench, F.R.S., knighted 2 May, 1837, died 20 May, 1860.
