Foote, Samuel, s. Samuel, of Truro, Cornwall, arm. Worcester Coll., matric. 1 July, 1737, aged 16; comedian and dramatist, died 21 Oct., 1777, buried in Westminster Abbey; his father entered the Middle Temple 15 Nov., 1697.
