Gildart, Francis, s. James, of Liverpool, Lancashire, gent. Brasenose Coll., matric. 5 Feb., 1774, aged 18; a captain in Colonel Tarleton's Legion in the American war of Independence and at the peace settled in America, and died there 25 Aug., 1814, leaving issue.
