Goddard, Charles, s. Charles, of Westminster, arm. Christ Church, matric. 2 Nov., 1787, aged 17; M.A. (by decree) 3 March, 1821, B. & D.D. 1821, a protegé of the Grenville family, collector and transmitter of State papers in the Secretary of State's office, Foreign department, subsequently took holy orders, preb. of Lincoln 1814, archdeacon 1817-44, sub-dean 1844, rector of St. James's, Garlick Hill, London, 1821-36, rector of Ibstock 1836, chaplain to the bishop of Rochester, died 21 Jan., 1845.
