Landon, John Whittington Ready, born at Oxford (city), s. Whittington, dean of Exeter. Worcester Coll., matric. 7 May, 1818, aged 16, scholar 1818-26, B.A. 1822, M.A. 1824; fellow Exeter Coll. 1826, chaplain 1826-7, vicar of Braunton, Devon, 1823, and of Bishopstone, Wilts, 1826, until his death 14 Feb., 1880.
