Lane, Theophilus, s. James, of Hereford (city), gent. Balliol Coll., matric. 30 April, 1792, aged 28; B.C.L. from Magdalen Hall 1801, D.C.L. 1814, preb. of Hereford 1801, died 19 July, 1814, father of Edward William Lane, translator and editor of the 'Arabian Nights.'
