Legge, Henry, s. William, Earl of Dartmouth. Christ Church, matric. 29 March, 1726, aged 17; created 1 D.C.L. Wadham Coll. 1 March, 1733-4, chancellor of the Exchequer 1754, and 1756-72, assumed the name of Bilson in lieu of Legge, M.P. East Looe Nov., 1740-1, Oxford 1741 to Dec., 1759, Hampshire Dec., 1759, until his death 23 Aug., 1764. 1 See Foster's Peerage.
