Leicester, (Sir) Peter (Bart.), s. John Byrne, of Bruton, Cheshire, baronet. Brasenose Coll., matric. 30 May, 1750, aged 17; created M.A. 23 June, 1753, of Tabley Hall, Cheshire, 4th baronet, assumed the name of Leicester in lieu of Byrne by Act of Parliament 1744, M.P. Preston March, 1767, to Nov., 1768. died 12 Feb., 1770. See Foster's Peerage, B. de Tabley.
