Little, George Ernest, s. Arthur Howman, of Bristow, Surrey, cler. Balliol Coll., matric. 17 March, 1815, aged 17; B.A. 1818, M.A. 1821, of Newbold Pacey Hall, co. Warwick, assumed the name of Little in lieu of his patronymic, master of St. Nicholas Hospital, Salisbury, 1824, vicar of Sonning, Berks, 1822-41, rector of Barnesley, co. Gloucester, 1841-74, hon. canon Bristol 1845-74, died 3 Aug., 1878.
