Livius, Peter, created D.C.L. 24 March, 1775 (s. Peter Livius, of Lisbon, merchant), bar.-at-law, Middle Temple, 1775, as of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, New England, appointed a judge of Court of Common Pleas there by Judge Wentworth 1767, chief justice of Montreal 1775, created M.A. University of Cambridge, New England, died on his way to Brighton, 23 July, 1795.
