Lloyd, Humphrey, D.D. Trinity Coll., Dublin, created D.C.L. 20 June, 1855 (son of Bartholomew, D.D., provost Trinity College, Dublin), scholar Trinity Coll., Dublin, 1819, B.A. 1820, fellow 1824-67, M.A. 1827, B. & D.D. 1840, provost 1867-81, president of the Royal Irish Academy 1846, and of the British Association 1857, F.R.S., died s.p. 17 Jan., 1881.
