Lopes, (Sir) Ralph (Bart.), s. Abraham Franco, of London, arm. Brasenose Coll., matric. 21 April, 1807, aged 18; B.A. 1811, M.P. Westbury Dec., 1814, to May, 1819, 1831-47, South Devon 1849-54. deputy warden of the Stannaries, assumed the surname and arms of Lopes by royal licence 4 May, 1831 (having succeeded his uncle as 2nd baronet 26 March same year), died 26 Jan., 1854.
