Machen, John Edward Jones, 1s. Daniel Jones, of Cardiff, co. Glamorgan, cler. Jesus Coll., matric. 10 May, 1850, aged 18; B.A. 1854, M.A. 1857, took the additional name of Machen, curate of Alfreton, co. Derby, 1856-7, and of Llandegveth, co. Monmouth, 1864-74, rector of Llanthewy-Vach, co. Monmouth, 1858, until his death in 1887.
