Mackenzie, Charles, 2s. John, of Wellwyn, Herts, gent. Pembroke Coll., matric. 26 March, 1825, aged 18; scholar 1825-33, B.A. 1828, M.A. 1831, head-master St. Olave's Grammar School, Southwark, 1832-55, vicar of St. Helen's, Bishopsgate, 1836-46, rector of St. Benet Gracechurch, etc. 1846-66, principal of Westbourne College 1855-64, founder of the City of London College, preb. of St. Paul's 1852, rector of All Hallows, Lombard Street, etc., 1866, until his death 11 April, 1888.
