Marsham, Jacob, born at Mote, Kent, s. Robert, Baron Romney. Christ Church, matric. 25 Jan., 1777, aged 17; fellow of King's Coll., Cambridge, M.A. 1783, D.D. 1797, preb. of Bath and Wells 1789, and of Rochester 1797, rector of Wilmington, Kent, 1800, canon of Windsor 1805, until his death 28 Jan., 1840.
