Mayo, Charles, s. Charles, of St. Thomas, Winchester, Hants, gent. New Coll., matric. 3 July, 1856, aged 19; scholar and fellow 1856-77, B.A. 1859, Stud. Med. i860, M.A. 1863, B.Med. 1865. D.Med. 1871, dean 1865, served in the American civil war, in the Franco-Prussian war, and in the Dutch campaign in Atchin, medical officer in the Fiji Islands, author of a 'History of Wimborne Minster,' died 15 July, 1877, at sea.
