Meyrick, (Sir) Samuel Rush (k.h.), s. John, of St. Margaret's, Westminster, arm. Queen's Coll., matric. 27 June, 1800, aged 16; B.A. 1804, M.A. 1810, B.C.L. 1810, D.C.L. 1811, of Goodrich Court, co. Hereford, high sheriff 1834, F.S.A. 1810, an advocate of Doctors' Commons, created a knight of the Guelphic Order 22 Feb., 1832, the celebrated antiquary and writer on arms and armour, died 2 April, 1848.
