Munro, Hugh Andrew Johnstone, scholar Trinity Coll., Cambridge, 1840-3 (B.A. 1842, fellow 1843-85, M.A. 1845, Litt.D. 1884), chancellor's medallist, Craven scholar 1841; adm. 'ad eundem' 8 March, 1860, Kennedy professor of Latin 1869-72, created D.C.L. 18 June, 1873, editor of 'Lucretius,' died 30 March, 1885.
