Northey, William, created D.C.L. 2 July, 1754, then of Compton Basset, Wilts (son of William Northey, of the same), M.P. Calne 1747-60, Maidstone 1761-68, Bedwyn (Nov.) 1768-70, a groom of the bedchamber to George III., a commissioner for trade, died 24 Dec., 1770.
