Owen, Goronwy (Gronovius), s. Owen, of Llanfair Mathafarn, pleb. Jesus Coll., matric. 3 June, 1742, aged 19; 'premier poet of Wales,' classical master at William and Mary College, Williamsburg, Va., 3 years minister of St. Andrew's, Brunswick County, Va., up to 1767, died 1769.
