Parkinson, John Posthumous, o.s. John Wilson, of Louth, co. Lincoln, doctor. Lincoln Coll., matric. 15 June, 1827, aged 17; demy Magdalen Coll. 1827-34, B.A. 1831, M.A. 1834, fellow 1834-42, D.C.L. 1845, senior dean of arts 1840, proctor 1841-2, of Ravendale, co. Lincoln, J.P., assumed the name of Parkinson in lieu of Wilson in 1840, perp. curate Marsh Chapel 1835-46, F.S.A., died 7 Dec., 1874. See Bloxam, vii. 320.
