Pasley, General Sir Charles William, R.E., K.C.B., created D.C.L. 20 June, 1844, served at the siege of Copenhagen 1807, at the battle of Corunna 16 Jan., 1809, and in the Walcheren expedition 1809, C.B. 26 Sep., 1831, K.C.B. 21 Dec., 1846, inspector-general Board of Trade, colonel-commandant R.E., general 1860, died 19 April, 1861.
