Peat, John, of St. Peter's Coll., Cambridge (B.A. 1833, M.A. 1836); adm. 'ad eundem' 21 Nov., 1839, held various curacies 1835-54, perp. curate Weald Chapel, Sevenoaks, 1854-60, rector of Hangleton, Sussex, 1860-4, vicar of East Grinstead 1863, until his death 11 May, 1871.
