Pechell, (Sir) Thomas (Brooke, Bart.), s. Paul, of St Clement's, London, arm. (after a baronet). Christ Church, matric. 30 May, 1771, aged 18; B.A. 1775. M.A. 1779, 2nd baronet, a major- general in the army 1814, gentleman quarterly waiter to the Queen, gentleman usher, daily waiter 1795, assumed the additional surname of Brooke by royal licence 22 Nov., 1800, M.P.
