Phinn, Thomas, 1s. Thomas, of Exeter (city), arm. Exeter Coll., matric. 29 Oct., 1834, aged 20; scholar 1836-40, B.A. 1838, bar.-at-law, Inner Temple, 1840, Q.C. and a bencher 1854, recorder of Portsmouth 1848-52, and of Devonport 1852-5, M.P.
