Porter, Rev. George, s. William, of St. Mary's, Carlisle, Cumberland, gent. Queen's Coll., matric. 20 June, 1805, aged 15; B.A. 1809, M.A. 1813, fellow 1815-9, and on old foundation 1819-30, tutor 1819, junior bursar 1825, vicar of Baldon-Toot, vicar of Monks Sherborne, Hants, and perp. curate Pamber 1830, until his death 8 April, 1848.
