Potter, Thomas, born at Cuddesden, Oxon, s. John, bishop of Oxford. Christ Church, matric. 18 Nov., 1731, aged 13; B.A. 1735, M.A. 1738, bar.-at-law, Middle Temple, 1740, recorder of Bath, principal registrar province of Canterbury, joint vice-treasurer Ireland, M.P. St German's 1747-54, Aylesbury 1754 to July, 1757, and Okehampton July, 1757, until his death 17 June, 1759.
