Riggs, George, o.s. George, of Penrith, Cumberland, gent. Queen's Coll., matric. 18 June, 1819, aged 20; scholar 1820-36, B.A. 1824, M.A. 1828, chaplain, math. lecturer, and tutor 1833-45, fellow 1836-46, bursar 1840, rector of Charlton-on-Otmoor, Oxon, 1846, until his death 4 Sep., 1855.
