Roberts, Lieut.-General Sir Frederick Sleigh, Bart., g.c.b., g.c.i.e., created D.C.L. 8 Feb., 1881 (son of General Sir Abraham Roberts, g.c.b.), served throughout Indian Mutiny 1857-8, etc., and in Affghanistan 1879-80, V.C. 1858, C.I.E. 1 Jan., 1880, G.C.B. 21 Sep., 1880, created a baronet 11 June, 1881, G.C.I.E. 21 June, 1887, hon.
