St. John's Coll., matric. 8 July, 1761, aged 17; scholar 1761-4, fellow 1764, B.A. 1765, M.A. 1769, B.D. 1774, D.D. 1785, proctor 1773, F.R. & A.S. 1792, 3rd and 2nd under-master Merchant Taylors' School 1778, vicar of St. Sepulchre, Snow Hill, 1784, until his death 26 Nov., 1829 (his father died rector of St. Peter's, Cornhill, 11 Jan., 1766).
