Shipley, Charles, born at Henllan, co. Denbigh, s. William, dean of St. Asaph. Brasenose Coll., matric. 28 April, 1802, aged 18; B.A. from All Souls' Coll. 1806, rector of Finmere 1812, and of Maypowder, Dorset, 1814, until his death 24 July, 1834, father of Orby.
