Magdalen Hall, matric. 27 Oct., 1842, aged 26; B.A. 1846, M.A. 1853, chaplain Merton College 1861-79, perp. curate Scilly Isles 1851-64, vicar of St. John-the-Baptist, Oxford, 1869-74, and of Sandford-on-Thames 1876-8, keeper of the Hope Collection of Engravings in Bodleian Library 1863.
