University Coll., matric. 10 Feb., 1818, aged 17; B.A. 1821, M.A. 1825, of The Vyne, Hants, high sheriff 1832, bar.-at-law, Middle Temple, 1827, M.P. Norfolk 1837-47, assumed the additional surname and arms of Chute by royal licence in 1827, died 6 July, 1879, father of Chaloner, Devereux, and Theophilus D. Chute (see page 253).
