Willis, Francis, s. John, of Lincoln (city), cler. Lincoln Coll., matric. 30 May, 1734, aged 15; B.A. from St. Alban Hall 21 March, 1738-9 M.A. from Brasenose Coll. 10 Feb., 1740-1, B. & D. Med. 1759, rector of St. John's, Wapping, vicar of Ashby de la Laund, co. Lincoln, 1775, established a private asylum for lunatics at Greatford, co. Lincoln, physician to George III., died 5 Dec., 1807, father of John 1769.
