89. That the end of the world comes suddenly.

The apostle says: “The day of the Lord shall so come as a thief in the night. When they shall say, Peace and security, then on them shall come sudden destruction.”[1] Also in the Acts of the Apostles: “No one can know the times or the seasons which the Father has placed in His own power.”[2]
