Elizabeth Williams Champney
(1850–1922)
American author of numerous articles and novels, most of which focused on foreign locations. Her novels were originally directed mainly at young girls, but she later wrote romantic semi-fictional fables of castles. Probably best remembered for her Vassar Girls and Witch Winne series. Pen names: Elizabeth W. Champney
