William Blair Morton
(1868–1949)

A British physicist; Professor Emeritus of Physics in Queen's University, Belfast. He was a member of the Royal Irish Academy and contributed many papers on the theory of electricity, acoustics, and hydro-dynamics to the Philosophical Magazine and to the Proceedings of the Physical Society and of the Royal Irish Academy.
