Father[edit]
It seems at least a fair assumption that the DNB article is about his father. Charles Matthews (talk) 08:21, 16 February 2018 (UTC)
This can be verified from a couple of high-quality references. The short obituary in the Antiquaries Journal, 1927 (see the data item for ATM) makes him the brother of Author:Charles Trice Martin. And, according to The Public Record Office, 1838-1958 (1991), page 251, by John D. Cantwell, CTM "was the son of Dr Samuel Martin, the eminent Nonconformist divine".
