Wrong portrait[edit]

The wiki software has somehow decided to display a portrait of Ralph Waldo Emerson (Emerson by Johnson 1846-crop.jpg) rather than that of Edward, Ralph's son. I have fixed this by removing the claim in Edward's Wikidata entry. Portraits of Edward are hard to come by, and a "portrait" of him as an infant being held in his mother's lap is used in his Wikipedia bio. Library Guy (talk) 17:36, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

My fix didn't seem to work, so I blanked the portrait since I don't have anything better. Bob Burkhardt (talk) 20:46, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The portrait is no longer blanked since the wrong one is no longer showing up. I got a "resolved" message from a note I left at Wikidata on my change there, and perhaps that is significant. Library Guy (talk) 20:14, 27 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
