And the earth was without forme & voyde, and darkenes was vpon the depe, & the Spirit of God moued vpon the waters.

Then God ſaid, Let there be light: and there was light.

And God ſawe ye light that it was good, and God ſeperated the light from the darkenes.

And God called the light, Day, and the darkenes, he called Night. So the eueni[n]g and the morning were the firſt day.

Then God made the firmament, & parted the waters, which were vnder the firmament, from the waters which were aboue the firmament.and it was ſo.

And God called the firmament, Heauen. So the euening and the morning were the ſecond day.

God ſaid againe, Let the waters vnder the heauė[n] be gathered into one place, & let the drye land appeare.and it was ſo.

And God called the drye land, Earth, & he called ye gathering together of the waters, Seas: & and God ſawe that it was good.

Then God ſaid, Let the earth budde forthe the budde of the herbe, that ſedeth ſede, the fruteful tre, wc beareth frute according to his kinde, which maie haue his ſede in it ſelf vpon the earth.and it was ſo.
