Bigelow  v.  Armes

The evidence in this case establishes to our entire satisfaction the following facts:

On the twenty-second of November, 1876, the parties to this suit made and signed the following memorandum in pencil:

'November 22, 1876.

'I propose to give my house on Eighth street, subject to $2,000, for one house on Delaware avenue, and one farm in Fairfax county, Virginia, and $525 cash.

GEORGE ARMES.

'Accepted: OTIS BIGELOW.'
