JACOBI, MARY PUTNAM, an American physician; born in London, England, Aug. 31, 1842. She graduated from the Woman's Medical College, Philadelphia; College of Pharmacy, New York; and the School of Medicine, Paris. Among her works are: “The Value of Life”; “Hysteria, and Other Essays”; “Studies in Primary Education.” She died June 11, 1906.
