Ansdell, W. F., was born in 1798, in the parish of Pancras, and at the age of fourteen commenced his musical studies under the celebrated M. P. Xing, and some time afterwards be-came a pupil of Augustus Meeves. Among his published works are " Le Souvenir," air with variations, "Le Bien Venu," march and rondo, and "slurs Fella," as a rondo.
