At its 15th Meeting, the Standing Committee of the Thirteenth National People's Congress decides to make the following revisions to the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Investment of Taiwan Compatriots:

1. The first paragraph of Article 7 is revised to read: "Taiwan compatriots may make investment by establishing enterprises with all or part of capital invested by Taiwan compatriots (hereinafter referred to as enterprises with investment of Taiwan compatriots), or may invest in other forms as provided by laws, administrative regulations or other provisions of the State Council."

2. Article 8 is deleted.

3. Article 9 is changed to be Article 8 and revised to read: "Enterprises with investment of Taiwan compatriots shall carry out their activities of operation and management in accordance with law, and their decision-making power in operation and management shall be free from interference."

4. Article 14 is deleted.

This Decision shall go into effect as of January 1, 2020.

The Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Investment of Taiwan Compatriots shall be promulgated anew after relevant revisions are made according to this Decision.
