CLEARCHUS (Κλέαρχος), an Athenian comic poet of the new comedy, whose time is unknown. Fragments are preserved from his Κιθαρωδός (Athen. x. p. 426, a., xiv. p. 623, c.), Κορινθίοι (xiv. p. 613, b.), Πάνδροσος (xiv. p. 642, b.), and from a play the title of which is unknown.
