COLVIN, JAMES MORRIS COLQUHOUN (1870–)
Major : son of J. C. Colvin, B.C.S : born Aug. 26, 1870 : educated at Charter-house : joined the Royal Military Academy, Woolwich : joined the Royal Engineers, 1888 : served in the Chitral Relief expedition, 1895, and in the Malakand Field Force, 1897, where he won the V.C, : in South Africa in 1901–2 : Intelligence Department, India : Staff Captain for Mobilisation, 1903.
