SEC. 2161. Authorizations of appropriations.

(a) National volunteer antipoverty programs.—

Section 501 (42 U.S.C. 5081) is amended—

(1) in subsection (a)—

(A) by striking paragraphs (1) through (4) and inserting the following:

``(1) Volunteers in service to america.—

``There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out part A of title I $100,000,000 for fiscal year 2010 and such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 2011 through 2014.

``(2) Special volunteer programs.—

``There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out part C of title I such sums as may be necessary for each of fiscal years 2010 through 2014.´´; and

(B) by redesignating paragraph (5) as paragraph (3);

(2) in subsection (c), by striking ``part B or C´´ and inserting ``part C´´; and

(3) by striking subsection (e).

(b) National senior service corps.—

Section 502 (42 U.S.C. 5082) is amended to read as follows:

``SEC. 502. National senior service corps.

``(a) Retired and senior volunteer program.—

``There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out part A of title II, $70,000,000 for fiscal year 2010, and such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 2011 through 2014.

``(b) Foster grandparent program.—

``There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out part B of title II, $115,000,000 for fiscal year 2010, and such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 2011 through 2014.

``(c) Senior companion program.—

``There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out part C of title II, $55,000,000 for fiscal year 2010, and such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 2011 through 2014.

``(d) Demonstration programs.—

``There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out part E of title II, such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 2010 through 2014.´´.

(c) Administration and coordination.—

Section 504 (42 U.S.C. 5084) is amended—

(1) in subsection (a), by striking ``fiscal years 1994 through 1996´´ and inserting ``fiscal years 2010 through 2014´´; and

(2) in subsection (b), by striking ``fiscal years 1994 through 1996´´ and inserting ``fiscal years 2010 through 2014´´.
