EXECUTIVE ORDER,
No. 93

In view of the petition of many of the inhabitants of the former municipalities of Jimalalud and Libertad, and upon recommendation of the provincial board of Oriental Negros, and pursuant to the provisions of Act Numbered Seventeen hundred and forty-eight, entitled “An Act authorizing the adjustment of provincial and municipal boundaries and authorizing the change of capitals of provinces and subprovinces, as may be necessary from time to time to serve the public convenience and interest,” the twenty municipalities of the Province of Oriental Negros as established by Act Numbered Seven hundred and fifteen, as amended by Act Numbered Sixteen hundred and four, and Executive Orders Numbered Twenty-seven, series of nineteen hundred and eight, One hundred and twenty-three, series of nineteen hundred and nine, Seventy-five, series of nineteen hundred and ten and Eighty-four, current series, are hereby increased to twenty-one by separating the former municipalities of Jimalalud and Libertad from the municipality of Tayasan, Province of Oriental Negros, and organizing them into an independent municipality under the name of Jimalalud.

The municipality of Tayasan shall consist of its present territory less the territory comprised in the former municipalities of Jimalalud and Libertad. The municipality of Jimalalud is hereby organized and shall consist of the territory comprised in the former municipalities of Jimalalud and Libertad: Provided, That the seat of municipal government of Jimalalud shall be in Jimalalud.

The organization herein made shall be effective January first, nineteen hundred and thirteen.
