Summary

Description On June 4th 2007 Colonel w:Peter Brownback threw out the charges against w:Omar Khadr on jurisdictional grounds. The w:Detainee Treetment Act only authorized the trial of "illegal enemy combatants". But Khadr -- like all the other Guantanamo captives, had only determined to be an "enemy combatant". Prosecutor w:Jeffrey Groharing filed this appeal to the w:Court of Military Commission Review.
