Description
English: FIRST EDITION. Small folio, lithographed title, pictorial title, 24 hand coloured lithographs after Mrs. Belnos by A . Colin and J.J. Belnos. Leaf of descriptive text to each plate, recto in French, verso in English. Contemporary calf over green paper covered boards, gilt lettered direct to upper board, rule and letters in gilt to spine, original pictorial paper wrappers bound as title. A scarce work. The lithographer of the plates; J.J. Belnos is thought to be the husband of the author.
